Red Road Flats

An example of someone ‘higher’ in society – Glasgow Commonwealth’s ‘artistic director’ and team, exploiting the ordinary and working class people of an area to satisfy their own ego, when trying to compete with the London Olympics ceremony.

There seems to be a real lack of general thought and common sense being put towards how this ‘art’ is affecting the ordinary person. It somewhat symbolises my thoughts on the art scene at the moment. Art is not being made for the ordinary person. It is quite often being made to satisfy the artist themselves and nobody else.
